KORO MAKAWA RESORT


Koro Makawa Resort is the newest luxury resort of its kind in Fiji. Fully licensed and staffed May 2006, the resort offers one luxury accommodation remotely located on twenty acres bordered by 400 acres of undeveloped native land.

What is unique about the resort is it serves one customer at a time. Just one! The owners have purposely limited the size of the resort to one beach front cottage designed to accommodate one couple or family. Koro Makawa resort was designed for those desiring the ultimate in privacy and seeking quality time with their spouse or family. Families with children are most welcome.

The Cottage features two bedrooms, a living room and large bathroom. Each bedroom is appointed with a King size bed with pillow top mattress and pure Egyptian Cotton Sateen Italian sheets and is appropriately furnished for maximum comfort. The living room offers private dining, tea & coffee and chilled beverages. The Cottage is purposely not equipped with phone or TV service but it does have an extensive book, musical and video library for your enjoyment. All meals are prepared in the main house and served in the main dining room or in the privacy of the Cottage. Each guest is provided with a Koro Makawa robe, slippers and Sulu. The Cottage is surrounded by a large deck with infinity plunge pool cascading its spring fed water through the gardens below.

Koro Makawa Resort offers guests a beautiful sandy beach approximately one kilometer long directly in front of the beach cottage. Ocean waters are temperate year around and the beach directly in front of the cottage is gradual, protected by an outer reef making a safe area for small children.

The resort also offers walking trails, village visits, excursions to other outer islands including Bird Island and true Fijian hospitality.

GOOD NEWS FOR SCUBA DIVERS!

Koromakawa Resort is implementing the following enticement: Each time our boat goes out with a dive group (minimum of two), the charge is US$45 per person. After completing the first dive and the divers elect to make a second dive, the second dive is FREE!

There will be no deviation from PADI safe practices for scuba diving and each dive is accompanied by a PADI instructor.
