Families travelling with children of all ages are welcomed warmly on Dolphin Island, where they can play and roam free in a place with no cars and no wildlife dangers.
Each of the 4 air-conditioned villas has been exclusively for island lifestyle with Pacific Island furnishings including heart timber floors, plaster walls, stone tiles, wooden shutters, and high ceilings. There are well-appointed bathrooms with free-standing baths, outdoor showers, private garden courtyards, and dual sinks.
For an evening of seclusion spend a night in the hilltop sleep-out bure, a thatched open-air bedroom offering a rustic and romantic night's sleep. Lit only by candlelight, the room is flooded with the sounds of the ocean and boasts views across the glistening moonlit sea. Awake to the haze of sunrise as the room is filled with the first rays of morning sunlight.
The main bure is situated in the center of the guest villas, embracing an elevated position above the infinity pool and a large wooden decking area. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens watch as shafts of sunlight reach through the lush palm canopy creating a sense of serenity and adding a cooling shade. Dine alfresco as the sun sinks into the ocean, soak up these blissful final rays from the open-fronted verandah accompanied by a tropical cocktail or a cool glass of wine. An intimate haven, cocoon yourself in tranquility on the beautiful Fijian island.
While on the island, guests dine on fresh Fijian-fusion cuisine prepared with fresh-caught seafood from local fisherman, unwind with massages or facials, and experience island activities like snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing.
Access: Located just 20 minutes by boat from shore, on the tip of Viti Levu, Fiji, Dolphin Island nestles like a precious jewel, surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Following arrival at Nadi International Airport, guests can travel for 2.5 hours by private car (included within rate), or choose to transfer by float plane or helicopter to Dolphin Island. The island's own private boat will then transfer guests to their own private island retreat where on arrival, they will be immediately enveloped by the beauty and luxurious accommodation that awaits.
